War Graves and Memorials

There are eleven names from the World Wars to be found in the Burial Ground or on graves or memorials, five of which are maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission - their locations are set out in the booklet 'The War Graves and Memorials of the Fallen' which can be downloaded below.

Details of these and other graves and a list of memorial inscriptions in the churchyard of St Andrew and St Mary the Virgin, Fletching, can be found on the website https://fletchinggraves.org/. These have been recorded by the late Denis Kenward and Sonia Harriyott.

As part of the marking of the centenary of Armistice Day 1918, the histories of those who died in the First World War were researched in 2018. A copy of the booklet ' WW1 Fallen of Fletching' can be downloaded below.
