Planning Information

Planning meetings are held in the village hall on Mondays at 7pm, fortnightly as required, the agenda having been posted on the village notice board 3 days prior.  Applications are delivered to the parish on a Wednesday and 21 days given to return comments.

All new application sites are visited to gain a better understanding of the plans and how they sit within the landscape.  Contrary to popular belief Councillors decisions to support or object are not made by personal choice; there are very strict guidelines to adhere to in the form of the Wealden Policy Documents.  The minutes of the meetings with comments and relating policy details are then forwarded by the clerk via email to Wealden.
