Pls see details from Wealden District Council regarding a Renewable Heat project that residents of the Parish of Fletching who currently use oil fired heating might be interested in:

Wealden District Council is supporting Forest Row Energy to deliver their Renewable Heat for Rural Communities project. The project provides a free home assessment that will show you the financial and environmental benefits of switching from oil fired heating to renewable heat and identify the best options for your situation.

Forest Row Energy will also help participating households access the Government’s Green Homes Grant and Renewable Heat Incentive subsidy to help pay for installing heat pump technology in place of oil.

To take part in the project, residents must live within 15 miles of Forest Row and currently use oil as their main source of home heating.

Installing low carbon heating offers great cost savings and is a must if we are going to meet our carbon reduction targets. Support from Forest Row Energy will make installing renewable heat for your home as easy and cost effective as possible. Taking part is free of charge and there is no obligation to have work carried out.
